Have you ever thought about getting married in London? Did you ever thought it is expensive and you cannot have a party due to a neighbourhood? Think again! Pembroke Lodge is one of our favourite places to photograph couples who are getting married in London, surrounded by 11 acres of beautiful Royal Parks, will allow you to have a party in style that no-one will ever forget! You might even be lucky and spot some of the Royal deers in surrounding park!
Getting ready in a hotel near Pembroke Lodge
Although Pembroke Lodge does not have the getting ready rooms or does not offer accommodation, there is plenty of beautiful places near by where you can get ready! Our couple, Megan&Josh choose to stay at the old grade II listed victorian manor, hotel Warren House which is located only 10min away from the venue itself! With a great size rooms there is plenty of space for you and your bridal party to get ready in the morning. Have a look!
Bright and airy wedding ceremony
Whether you wish to get married outside (weather permitting) or indoor, Pembroke Lodge have two stunning indoor suits and also astonishing outdoor ceremony setups, which will allow you to get creative with your planning without the fear of the weather. Wedding of Megan&Josh, we had a pleasure to photograph and video, was placed in the Belvedere suite, which was absolutely stunning! with loads of natural light coming through the ceiling and side terrace windows, made the capture of the day very bright and airy, so if this is what you love for your wedding, here is the place! Flowers by Dawn Jennings
If you are still looking at the flowers, on the wedding of Megan&Josh all the flowers were supplied by one of Pembroke Lodge recommended supplier - Dawn Jennings. Her simple, but stunning arrangements of white roses and lisianthus, mixed with the greenery of eucalyptus and ivy, were a very nice touch to the overall look of the venue and suited the style of the whole wedding.
Wedding breakfast and photo opportunities
After the ceremony and thorough the day you and your guests can choose to relax and have some fresh air at the stunning terrace outside, which have a breathtaking view of London Thames and the Park itself. On Megan and Josh wedding day there was a talented musician, Bryan Edery, playing the piano, which added the greatness to the day. If you lucky with the weather on the day the sun sets exactly on the side of the Belvedere terrace. Just look at these fabulous shots!
Sit down meal, speeches and party time!
Belvedere room after the ceremony is transformed into a sit down meal, while your guests are mingling outside and having their drinks, you might want to go for a wonder for a couple shoot, the possibilities are endless, so have some time planned for only you two before you make your big entrance to the room full of your guests! After the meal, if you are planning speeches they will be performed at the same sitting plan as the meal, and after that the room will be cleaned while guests are having coffee in a lobby next door, into a fantastic dance floor! Let the party begin!
